CORE DE FORCE: Week 1- DONE! Start of Week 2

I successfully finished Week 1 of CORE DE FORCE! Yeah!!! Wow, what a great workout. I know you’re all curious about what results I had in the first week, right?

Well I’m super excited to let y’all know I lost 4 pounds during my first week. It seems crazy to me, but not so much when I consider that I really controlled my eating last week. I am also starting to see some definition in my obliques.

The workouts were challenging but fun. One thing that I really enjoy about this program is that I haven’t gotten bored. I looked over the schedule and it looks like I never will get bored. There are so many different workouts and they are so nicely spaced apart. You don’t do the same ones over and over again like in many other workout programs.

I also like that Joel and Jericho are actually doing the moves with you almost the whole time. One may walk over to another person for a minute to show you their form or something, but they quickly jump back in. And they alternate showing you the next move. So if Jericho showed you the last move, Joel will show you the next. At least that’s how it’s been up til now. I really like that. And I also wonder… how can they manage to talk while doing some of those exercises? They are in such good shape, I know that’s the answer. But I actually talked out loud today while I was doing some leg check planky type move (I’ll never remember what it’s actually called) and I really just got out a few grunts. I sounded ridiculous.

Whew. Okay so today was Day 1 of my second week of CORE DE FORCE which included TWO workouts. Today was MMA Shred and Core Kinetics. I had done MMA Shred before but not Core Kinetics. It really felt like it was ripping up my core. I’m super excited to do that one again.

My goal for this week is to really improve my nutrition. I was much better last week than usual, but want to be even better this week.
